Additional features within Google’s upgraded AdWords editor 11.4

Google AdWords editor has always been a fantastic free tool for marketers to manage large ad campaigns. Users are able to download their campaigns, use their editing tools to make changes and then upload the changes. It features bulk editing tools to make a lot of changes efficiently, offline support so you can work on the go, campaign statistics and many more useful tools. Google has recently released a new version of AdWords, and with several new features, it’s set to become more vital than ever for online marketers.

Version 11.4 adds some incredible new features. For example, faster campaign creation will be enabled by the inclusion of a drop-down menu which lets users select a campaign type and AdWords will set up settings catered to that campaign type. Users can also create mobile app installs campaigns for their Display Network ads now, which is useful for marketers who work in app creation or promotion. They can also create and edit app extensions, which will show off their mobile or tablet app by displaying a link to it below their ads. AdWords editor 11.4 now fully supports review extensions, meaning that users can add a quote from a positive review which will show up beneath their advert. Finally, it’s now possible to set a campaign bid strategy to target CPA, which means that a user sets a target amount that they would like to spend per conversion, and Adwords uses that information to make decisions on who should see the adverts and how often.

There are also lots of little tweaks to make Adwords more user-friendly, like the fact that in the type list, ads and ad extensions are separated into two sections. Changes have been made to the ‘find duplicate keywords’ tool, which is now programmed to ignore the broad modifier match type when you select the “ignore match type” option. This feature was introduced after user feedback described frustration with this aspect of the program, so it is sure to make life easier for many people. There is also now an option to edit the frequency capping campaign setting, which will limit the amount of times that one person is able to see your Display Network ad.

With all these new features and capabilities included with version 11.4, Google AdWords is now even more useful and important for anyone who is serious about growing their business through online marketing and advertising.
